I have finished working on the more than 2000 pictures I took during
the 2002 Bouvier Specialty, held at Springfield, Ohio from Oct 7 through
Oct 13. Of these, I have put approximately 1200 up on this web site for
viewing. Because of the number of pictures I took, you will see that
these web images have had limited tweaking done to them as far as cropping
and any color or level corrections. Since so many Bouviers seem to look
alike, especially in activites like agility and herding, I tried to leave
the person in the picture that was with the dog. This will give people a
better chance to identify which dog was their's. Sometimes I only had a
small part of the person, but if that was you, hopefully you will be able
to recognize the cloths or shoes or hands enough to identify your dog.
The pictures shown will be in the order I took them each day. I didn't get
every dog but I did get at least a few shots of most of the Bouviers that
showed (I did get some other breeds as well, but I haven't put them up
here). Unfortunately, because of the lighting situation in the building
(photography wise, it was very poor lighting and I don't use flash, which
might distract or bother some dogs), I didn't take a lot of conformation
or obedience pictures. I did attempt to take more obedience pictures on
the 10th, even though they still came out a bit fuzzy from movement in the
low light. Had I known of the interest in pictures taken during
conformation, I would have taken more, even in the low light conditions. I
have already made a note of that (as well as some other ideas) so I'll
know better next year. My next task is to put together the image CDs that
I promised a number of people. For those that are waiting, I haven't
forgotten. But I don't mind an e-mail reminder just in case it has slipped
my mind.

Note that these were taken in the show building with limited light.
Because of this they are not going to be as sharp as most of the outdoor
pictures were.

Note, that
because of the large number of pictures I took during the instinct testing
(over 500), I did not do any adjustments to them at all, but just used my
web page creater to convert all of them at one time. This means that in
most cases, the images can be improved if I was to run them through
Photoshop like I did most of the other days.
